Silks inspires the senses with fresh California cuisine with Asian inspired dishes. In addition to fine cuisine, Silks is focused on reducing their carbon footprint by utilizing local organic and sustainable produce as well as offering a selection of biodynamic wines. The ambience at Silks is quite unique, influenced by everything from the journey of Marco Polo to the court of Kublai Khan. Interior designer Cheryl Rowley has created a look that evokes the great explorer’s odyssey and the discovery of silk, through wall treatments, floor coverings and hand-painted silk chandeliers. The Venetian adventurer’s journey to Cathay is celebrated in textures and artifacts, and in the colors themselves - cinnamon, nutmeg and persimmon.
