Roger R. Blier | CEO and Co-Founder
Roger R. Blier is committed to creating and building "great cities of light" - the most dynamic and exciting client vendor programs on the planet.
Roger is responsible for the vision and strategic direction of the Passport Unlimited Dining and Lifestyle programs. Passport programs are offered in major US cities and reach a client base of over 40 Fortune 1000 companies.
Under Roger's direction, the Passport Corporate Membership program client list has grown to include Microsoft, Oracle, Hewlett-Packard, Apple, Intel, Weyerhaeuser, Genentech, AMD, Xbox Live and a host of other Fortune 1000 companies, savvy credit unions and membership organizations. Additionally, Passport's Client Branded gift card program boasts participants such as Wells Fargo, Coldwell Banker, Boeing Management Association, Bank of America, John L. Scott, Washington Mutual, Windermere and Farmers Insurance.
From 1997 to 1999 Roger was a founder and CEO of EmployeeSavings; he was instrumental in obtaining major Fortune 500 companies as its first clients. Roger also helped arrange more than $35 million in venture capital financing for EmployeeSavings. As a founder and board member, Mr. Blier helped grow the company to over 40 Fortune 500 clients, and more than 110 national retail-marketing partners.
From 1981 to 1997 Roger was president and CEO of Blier and Associates, Inc. At Blier, he founded, developed, and launched retail marketing programs for Texaco, Inc., Mobil (now ExxonMobil Corporation), Chevron Corporation and the Shell Oil Company.
During the same period, Roger founded and launched Passport Unlimited, a nationwide dining membership organization which now serves more than 28 US markets, over 800 participating restaurants, and 100,000 professional members across the country. He holds a B.A. from San Diego State University.
